It's a bit of an institution here in the UK. Blue Peter is one of the UK's longest running shows - and I grew up watching. So it's a great honour to have been filmed for this recent episode (and receive my very own Blue Peter Badge) Although it's still a couple of months away from cinema release (6th Feb 2015), the Shaun Movie publicity is starting. Here's a recent feature in this months Total Film magazine:
I'm attending this year's festival to talk about working as a stop motion animator and show some behind the scenes on a recent shoot. More info can be found here:
http://www.dublinanimationfilmfestival.com/ The trailer for my current movie is out and you can watch it by clicking on this image (which, by the way, was the very first shot I animated on the film). The movie will be released in the UK Feb 06, 2015 I'm very happy to be returning to the excellent EIFF to talk about working in animation. Hope to catch some new films whilst I'm there. Festival runs from 18th - 27th June 6 weeks ago photographer Mary McCartney (daughter of Paul McCartney) took some photo's on a set visit. Click on the image to see the full page, or buy the magazine out now! Finally have got myself a camera with live view and I was very excited to play with it for the first time over the Easter weekend. More to follow but my first piece "Easter Chick" is here: New Shaun Series 4 'behind the scenes' film is now on the BBC website. I'm filmed talking about animating the Farmer.
